Investment in Oil and Gas
Although oil and gas investments can be just as risky as any other market, they are associated with profits and high returns. Investing in oil and gas can have tax benefits and during times when oil is scarce, the prices can skyrocket. There is a constant search for reserves due to this, especially as most countries rely on foreign oil. There are oil and gas investments that focus on research into better technology and others that are solely focused on the sourcing of oil. Investing only in the end products on a short-term basis can provide the most profit of all as the prices can change dramatically over a relatively quick period of time.

Prices tend to fluctuate due to changes in the world's economy and the political stability of the countries that provide the main sources of oil. Panic can cause the prices to soar but they are impossible to sustain at such a high level which is why short-term options can be so popular. Overall oil investments seem to be very risky and depend on many factors that cannot be controlled.
