Investment opportunities abundant in Saudi Arabia

In what comes as pleasant news it has been informed that the Kingdom and government of Saudi Arabia is very much concerned about the opportunities for investment. This deserves special appreciation in light of the fact that the nation is realizing the potential and benefits that one will derive in this highly competitive and global economy. However there are so many bottle necks for development. Some of them are bureaucracy, red tapism and above all lack of knowledge and skills for investment. Similarly the absence of work force ethics is one another reason.

This was an official note and the purpose of an international seminar held in the city recently. This was attended by many leading luminaries around the world. The main purpose of the seminar was to showcase the vast options for investment and as well as to make out how well they can be done in a mutually beneficial manner.

Similarly the key speakers at the seminar also pointed out at several important issues in this connection. They explained several initiatives of the government and as well as pointed how these can make things do be shaped in a better manner. They also said that the government was very serious about exploiting the investment potential for the benefits of the citizens, nation and the investors along with the business community which might be directly or indirectly benefited out of these.

The seminar also pointed out at the darker side of the issue. It was explained that there are several other hindrances other than the common ones. Among them one of the most familiar and sensitive issue is about the belief preached in Islamic religion. As per the belief collecting interest on the money lent is a sin. Many of the ancient doctrines prescribe to this and therefore it is proving to be a major hassle when it comes to investment especially when the participation of foreign countries is involved. As a result, they were unable to face the global competition. However it was also made out that lot of efforts are being taken to overcome this along with other drawbacks. If everything works out together it would certainly be beneficial and people added that efforts were to make it true in the days to come.
